(Low budget) Accommodations in the US?

Guarenteed (SP?) cheapest prices go to priceline.com for a hotel, I have gotten some for 40$ per night. America is not known for hostals but its worth checking out as there might be some. I kinda think our alternative to hostels is couchsurfing.com or place2stay.net. Both are legit and cool to meet people too.

Definitely. A decent hotel in Thailand can be as cheap as $30 and as long as you eat local food it shouldn't cost you more than $5/meal. KL is a bit expensive, but you can find youth hostel for less than $30. Food in KL is also cheap. Singapore is the most expensive place. It's basically if you spend SG$7 for lunch in the states, you will expect to pay SG$ 7 in singapore. You probably won't stay that long in Singapore anyway, unless you like a concrete jungle. Everything seems to be a bit artificial there. Have a great trip! btw if you need cheap flights try air asia or tiger airways. As long as your luggage is less than 22lbs this can be so much cheaper.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Motel 6 all the way! They are a cheap, clean chain of motels. Here is their website where you can check rates, availability, and locations.

I am not a Motel 6 salesman. I just love them cause they are cheap, and they are everywhere, and they even allow pets!
