Question regarding Bulgarian alphabet.?

Hi everyone, im trying to learn bulgarian and I learned the alphabet lately, and I saw a music video and saw 2 letters which I did not recognize and never seen before.

One of them looks like an inverted V, and the other one is the "u". I have not seen both signs on any page yet, but I think the inverted V should be a Л and the u stands for the и. Could it be possible that those signs just look a bit different because of another font type ?
