Hi I need to find a flight from new york to greenland?

I will go from new york , or any other city in north america to greenland (possibly narsassuaq)
I need to find a cheap flight

There are no direct flights, all flights MUST go through Iceland, and for the CHEAPEST fare, September onward is the best time.

So: [All fare are return flights]

NYC to Reykjavik on Air Iceland - $769 (Jul) or $473 (Sept) on Iceland Air.

From there, Air Iceland will from July 1st - September 19th 2008 offer flights to Narsarsuaq from Reykavik. Flights will be twice a week, Tuesday and Friday. It would be cheapest to fly in September as well using Air Iceland.

Reykjavik to Narsassuaq - $177.20 (23,000 Icelandic Kroner) 

After September 19th, the only way to get to Narsassuaq is through Nuuk (Reykjavik - Nuuk) on Air Iceland, and then connect from Nuuk to Narsassuaq on Air Greenland [Expect to pay at least $500 more].

Note: Air Iceland and Iceland Air are different companies.
