That others don't understand of course they don't have too but when your struggling with a 11 year old kicking on the floor don't pass judgement on the parent trying to restrain their child its hard enough!

There are many problems and concerns for us parents of children with autism. People not understanding what a day for us is like. I'm not complaining but it is very challenging. Other people don't have a clue what we go through. You have to have patience. Some children have speech delays which make it difficult to understand what they are saying. Some have other health issues that you have to deal with. THEN you have the part of educating these children. Educators think that they can handle them all the same which is not true at all. So there is no right answer to your question. it just depends on who you ask and what the major concern of that day may be.

The biggest problem is dealing with the educators, and the public on their needs, and what it means to be autistic.
