How much should i feed my Baby turtle?

you should give him some turtle food from the pet store but that should not be the only thing you give him for nutrients. you should give him some greens, earthworms and fruit if he gets the fish it is fine for him. pay attention to the things left over in his tank. if you notice him not eating the same thing he may not like it. you should feed him 2 or 3 times a day and then while he gets older feed him 1 or 2 times a day.

As far as the water in the tank goes, you should keep it as deep as the width of your turtle. AT LEAST. I would go for twice that and make sure they have a rock or turtle dock to get out of the water to dry off and sun for a while. I fed my baby turtle baby turtle pellet (which he didn't like for a while) and plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. Try not to feed them to much meat though, they love it, but depending on the meat it may not be good for them. Hotdogs, ground beef, steak- are to fatty for them. Try a little chicken, or fresh cooked shrimp. you can buy those at petsmart and they are dehydrated. The rule for water is 10 gallons for one inch of shell. Make sure it is deep enough that if they fall on their back in the water that they are able to flip themselves back over. Also make sure you have somewhere that they can bask. Young turtle are carnivorous but you can try to introduce dark greens as they may try it. Get crickets and earthworms. You can cut up cooked chicken in feed them that. They enjoy krill which you can get by the turtle/fish food at pet stores or walmart. When they get bigger try rosey red minnows, as they may be too big to eat while the turtles are small.

You should feed your baby turtle as much as it can eat in five to ten minutes once per day.
