canary experts please?

Canaries are best housed alone. Don't house two males together because they are aggressive and will fight. Also, don't house a male and female together unless they are breeding. The female and male shoudn't be placed together until the female is building her nest. Female canaries can be housed together.

Im not a canary expert but i am a bird expert it depends male and male birds don't fit together well but male and female is good unless they are different kinds female and female work pretty fine and if they start fighting then get a bird babysitter to babysit your birds while you get a new cage.

yes but you dont want to shove it in right away, also it depends if they are the same sex then they will not get along and fight, if you put a male and a female then they will start laying eggs for you, it is best to put there cages side by side as they do like companionship. although i have housed canaries same sex (like 2 females and one male) somtime i had problems but sometimes they got along.
