Should the young Orioles trade players like Melvin Mora and Aubrey Huff for young, established pitching talent?

I don't know what team Alex is watching, but it's obviously not the Orioles. What they're doing IS working, but it will take some time before they contend. They have 3 or 4 starters in the minors who all project as better than the 5 they have on the ML roster now. They will be a good team in 2010 and a very good team in 2011, even if they do nothing.
I agree to trading Mora for anything decent they can get. He's fading fast. Trade Huff now, then resign him as a free agent after his contract expires this year if there's no better option available. Only glaring hole right now is the 3B for the future.
Stay the course. The future looks very bright.

Yes, they need to build a younger more consistent team for the future. They are not doing well right now, and they dont make changes? They should try to get some players to stack their team up in the future. Younger batters and pitchers, and defensive players who will lead the league in the future. They cannot think about now with older players, because clearly it isnt working out for them

wow, maybe melvin but look how Aubrey is helping the offense. He's hitting very consistently, especially in the past few games. him and Brian Roberts are both very key to the O's success.

They do have mediocre pitching, but I don't think they will give up that much talent for pitching. I think they should go toward maybe trading minor league talent and slowly but surely build up their rotation.
