Were there two revolutions in France in reality?
One until 1791 and then one after?

You could argue either way.
The second arguably begins in June 1791 with the royals' failed flight to Varennes. This marked a shift in people's attitude. Then in September the much more radical and inexperienced Legislative Assembly replaced the National Constituent Assembly. This opened up a new period of radicalism; when they started turning on the king, coming up with plans to change the calender, abolilsh religion, create and type of person, accelerating towards the Terror.
However I would argue that there was only one revolution, beginning in the Summer of 1789, the consequences of which kept rippling outward and oscillating with changed circumstances. It was in 1789 that you can first see contemporaries describing the sense of a break from the past, a new era. You can't really see anything like the same break anywhere in 1791. And if 1791 was a second revolution, where do you stop? You can just as easily argue that the destruction of the Legislative Assembly in 1792 marked an even bigger break, could that be a third revolution? Not to mention the seizure of power by the enragés in June 1793, beginning the great Reign of Terror, a fourth?
So in short in answer is no.

There's three revolutions.
The one everyone knows about, the French Revolution of 1789.
A second Revolution in 1830, also known as the July Revolution in 1830, overthrowing the constitutional monarchy for the Orleans monarchy.
A third one in 1848 Revolution, one of a wave of revolutions in Europe this year. It ended the Orleans monarchy and was the start of the French Second Republic.

There were more than two. There was the French Revolution, which started in 1789, and is the one people usually mean when they talk about 'The French Revolution'. There was another one in 1830, when King Charles X was deposed and forced to flee, and was replaced by his cousin Louis-Philippe. Then in 1848 there was another one, when Louis-Philippe was deposed, and followed briefly by the Second Republic, and then by the Second Empire, when Napoleon III ruled. The Second Empire ended with yet another revolution in 1870, when yet another Republic was ushered in.
