Where is the transmitter tower for WCBS 880 NYC news radio located?
WCBS 880 used to be the most powerful radio station in New York. I could easily pick it up with my car radio all the way from Baltimore to Boston. During a recent visit to NYC however I had a real problem picking up their signal even in Battery Park City. Does anyone know if anything or what has changed and where the actual transmitter is located.

Broadcast area, New York City area. Branding, WCBS Newsradio 880 ... and the transmitter is located on High Island in the Bronx, New York (the antenna is shared .... and destroyed its WCBS' AM antenna tower just a few hours earlier...
