Is the new apple macbook pro 13 inch suitable for working with autocad?
Hi, I am planing to buy a computer, to be precise, a laptop for school(architecture). At one side I know that mac has the best operating system, the best platform, it is just all in all the best laptop. But I am not sure if it suits a 13.3 inch displey on macbook pro.
so what do you think? please make the answer a bit more detailed. the best answer wins 10 points....:D
and how does the autocad work on mac?
these certainly are opinions,,,,,and thats really stupid that I can´t run in on osx, I agree, not the best thing.

Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there. Mac is certainly not the best platform nor is it the best operating system nor is it the best laptop. First of all, those are all opinions, but there's no logic behind such absurd claims. Autocad doesn't even exist for Mac. You'd have to run it on Windows via Bootcamp with a Mac. (Note: this pretty much confirms that Mac cannot be the best platform or OS ;)
Even putting personal opinions aside, a 13" screen would be FAR too small for Autocad.
So to answer your question: no, the new Apple Macbook Pro 13" is absolutely terrible for working with Autocad. It's probably one of the worst laptops you could pick for the job.

the 13 inch pro is great but keep in mind if u r working with cad you generally would wanna have a bigger screen. so I would go for the 15inch...just for the screen....as far as the processor go, you got plenty of juice in the 13inch ...i would be sure to have 4gig of ram though...one can never have enough ram specially for rendering 3d graphics
i am not sure if there is an autocad version for OS X but u can certainly run it by booting windows on the mac ...alternativly I am sure Mac offers plenty of other CAD software.
