Tongue Bifurcation, anyone done it?

I'm looking into having mine done as well! Everyone I've talked to with one LOVES it! They say they lisped a bit at first from swelling, but soon got the hang of things and learned how to control both ends of the tongue separately.

Edit: If you want it 'natural' looking, definitely get the edges sutured. I've seen sutured vs. cauterized, and the inside edges of the cut on sutured ones is so nice and rounded :] Try and find a good oral surgeon to do it. Getting it done by a body mod artist is pretty shady in the US. Body mod artists can't legally use anesthesia so it would be very painful and bloody. Oral surgeons use a laser to slice through it while you are knocked out.

Yeah unless you stick your tongue out i dont think people really know you have it done

but it takes a while to do it there are two ways i have heard of first you get your tongue pierced then you gauge until it gets to a 0 then they split the rest with a scalpel

the other way i've heard of ir just to cut it all with a scalpel in one go

though i really have no idea how it feels i don't think the la ink girl had any taste or whatever problems

you should go on some tattoo/piercing sites to hear people stories

ive never seen that before, but it sounds disgusting and snake-like. sorry, i just dont understand why people go through such extremes to alter their body so that it basically screams "look how different!"
