what amp and sub woofer should I get for my car?
Its an 2000 C230 Kompressor, Mercedes Benz with standard Bose system. I just want an amp and a sub to divert the highs and lows, and leave the middle sounds on the Bose. What is the best for under $500 (not including instalation)?
Don't need a new cd player or face cuz I love the Mercedes one, and I dont want it too powerful cuz I don't want to loosen all the bolts, just something better than stock.

true that they perform at their best with out dimming your lights much unlike kicker those are some power hungry subs that will dim your lights alot and have some bad sound quality

just something better then stock? with 500 dollars you can do alot. if i were you i would buy an alpine type s 10" and whatever alpine amp that matches its power. and you can control the bass level with a turn thing on the amp. and that would be alot less than 500. that will give you good sounding bass and will not annoy people or give anyone a headache.
