since Fiat is taking over GM where are the cars going to be made?
in USA or outsourced?
will they make better/greener cars?

Fiat did not hesitate to have cars assembled in Poland (and Italians still bought them despite the number of national jobs lost)
Unless it is stipulated in the contract I fear it will not help Europe nor the US too much and as the quality has always been in question will most likely target a developing nation.

fiat is looking to take over opel, which is currently owned by GM. but yeah, fiat is going after chrysler. fiat would be stupid not to utitlize the distribution channels available in the USA through chrysler. the factories/plants and dealer network can put fiat on the map over here and then some. if it becomes a successful partnership. besides, the USA is still the largest market for cars and fiat has an opportunity to re-enter.

Fiat is merging with Chrysler, not GM. Chryslers, what's left of them, will be built here in the US and Canada. Fiats will someday be built here as well if things go according to plan.

They are only looking at buying GM's European division known as Opel. It will not effect where the domestic models are being manufactured.

These cars are presently made in the US, Canada, Mexico, and hell, by Opel in Europe. I do not remember exactly what country.
