The reason this story is seemingly overemphasized, is due to the potential loss of life this strand can cause. I agree with the government wanting to send out all the warnings now, rather than to not do anything and see how many people it can kill without alarming people to take some simple precautions. Instead of the average 36,000 people who die annually in the US alone from various forms of flu, this flu is already showing signs of being able to get way out of control.

There are very few things better than a BBQ, and I would definitely be there if I had a chance. Just wash your hands good before you handle the meat, and clean your grill before and after use!

Also, don't be afraid to spray some beer on any meat that is over a fire flare up. It will only add good flavor to the meat you are cooking. No, you didn't ask for cooking tips, but I am a professional! Also, leave any meat frozen if it's out of the freezer when you put it on the grill. More of the flavorful juices will be seared into the meat for a delicious treat. Enjoy your party!!

The people most at risk are the very young, the old, people with respiratory problems and those with a lowered immune system.

Since I fit into one of those categories (and I'm not admitting to which!), you can count me in.

I've quite a few gallons of wines, spirits, beer to get through before I confess all to St. Peter!
