Who else feels happy for Gordon?

I really do! It's amazing he was able to win after such a looooooooooooong time. I loved to see him be happy again. It's about time he put the little underweight kids in their cribs.

hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I have been a long time Gordon fan and actually got to sit inside his sprint car at Bloomington Speedway in Indiana. He was just 16 I think and I was 5. I don't know its been a while but I am really happy that he finally won at Texas! The drive for 5 is alive!

I think it's great he won a race, especially at a track he's never won on before, but his losing streak is nothing compared to some other drivers. Kyle Petty hadn't won a race since 1995. John Andretti hasn't won since 1999. Mark Martin hasn't won since 2005. If you think 47 races is such a long time, try being a fan of one of the above listed drivers. Richard Petty's last win was in 1984, and he retired in 1992. Jeff Gordon's losing streak is peanuts compared to these other losing streaks.

I'm happy for him, He has in my opinion been very competitive

since he was 12 years old,

I saw him race a 500 horsepower sprint car, and he couldn't have been more than 14 years old. I couldn't believe it, I know there are a lot of

Jeff Gordon bashers on yahoo answers, but not many in the NASCAR

Nation. and I don't mind thumbs down, just be sure and read all of it.

I am. Jeff is a great person and was due for a win. I really think that was just the first of many wins he will get this year. He has been running up front in every race so far. I'm sure he will be a threat for the championship this year.

confident, in basic terms as I felt sorry for Thatcher, plenty as I despised her government, while she left in tears, and felt sorry for substantial, who grew to become into in plenty an identical place as Brown grew to become into, blamed for actually each and every little thing with each and all the media against him. in spite of you think of bearing directly to the politics of any flesh presser, i even have self belief that all and sundry who desires to steer his occasion actually believes he's doing so for the stable of the country and to make a distinction. Gordon Brown did make a distinction. confident he have been given some issues very especially incorrect. yet will we heavily look into our variety new hi-tech hospitals and not supply him in my opinion the credit, while he made it take place in 3 years as PM and 10 as chancellor? will we actually no longer look proudly at our variety new faculties up and down the country and not supply him some credit for that? he's someone and a kinfolk guy, and the British gadget of electing a clean government is fairly brutal. Outgoing governments in different international locations get an prolonged handover era, countless months in u . s . a .. right here the PM takes a 5 minute holiday to be certain the queen and not in any respect instruments foot in Downing highway back, the incoming PM does the adventure in opposite and that's that rapid. Leaving a house you had for 13 years is tough for all and sundry. residing consistently interior the glare of the media is tough for all and sundry. in basic terms one top minister because of the fact the conflict has resigned by his own decision with out being forced out by the two the voters or his own occasion or a action of censure. it somewhat is an day Cameron too will face in some years from now. Enoch Powell as quickly as reported "all political careers bring about failure", and it somewhat is between the wisest issues he ever reported (different than in 1974 while he pronounced human beings to vote Labour in protest on the Tories turning out to be a member of the EEC with out the referendum Heath had promised, and Labour as a result held one asking if we ought to continuously stay in or withdraw). For Brown in my opinion, he jogged my memory somewhat of John substantial in 1997 who regarded immensely relieved and greater advantageous than satisfied to enable flow of front line politics.
