Is it more of a gamble to endorse the supernatural or to ignore it?

There is no such thing as supernatural or unnatural

Well, if God is real and there is a heaven and a hell, then it would behoove a person to figure out which religion is most likely to get him into heaven. If one is picking at random, that will make things really difficult. There are thousands of religions that claim to have the truth. If you pick the wrong religion, you presumably would not get into heaven.

On the other hand, if God and the supernatural is a myth, what would be the benefits and harm of belief? If there the harm is minimal and there are some practical benefits (such as better mental health, physical well-being, etc), then the odds would favor being religious.

But the whole wagering game never made much sense in the first place. There are better ways of figuring out this question than playing the odds.
