'History' of Torchwood in Doctor Who?

Question

Hi!
Could anyone help me out with which episodes from Doctor Who are about the past of Torchwood?
I've been watching Torchwood and got addicted to it :) 
So now I want to know what happened in the Doctor Who series but can't honestly be bothered to watch the whole series.
Would be nice if anyone could give me the season/episode name or a link maybe if there is something helpful online. So far I didn't find anything myself though.

There are tricky little references to Torchwood throughout the whole first two seasons, but the Season 2 episode 'Tooth and Claw' (it's the second episode in the season) explains when, why and how the Torchwood Institute was founded.

The two-part finale of Season 2, 'Army of Ghosts/Doomsday' explains all about the modern-day Torchwood Institute . . . it doesn't include any of the characters from the 'Torchwood' spinoff, but it does explain how the Cardiff base comes to be the only Torchwood still functioning, and sets up a couple of the first season's storylines.

Any good TV streaming site will have the episodes for you.

Well Torchwood was the name of a house in the Doctor Who series which belonged to Queen Victoria I think it was... And she found out that when The Doctor was around, strange things would happen such as the werewolf that attacked her. So she decided to make an institution against all invasions against Earth and called it Torchwood.

i don't think there any episodes in doctor who about the history of  torchwood or i forgotten them

there is a bit of torchwood in doctor who but not a lot sorry!
