Should you help guide an errant pastor, priest, rabbi, or imam with the collection basket?
When a minister shouts God-Dam America, Do you put the checkbook back in your pocket? When a priest is convicted of child molestation, do you stop the tithe? When an imam loudly calls for American blood, do you bless your pocket with money that would have gone to the mosque? How do you reign in the bad religidiots that are in charge of God's house?

ALL churches have some sort of corruption.
I hear about it on the news, I see it in my own church.
As far as money issues go, when we take the offering, my pastor always says, "If you're a first-time guest today, please keep your wallet in your pocket. We're not here to ask for your money."
So we don't have problems with how money is handled, or how the pastor is living his everyday life... our problems are in other aspects.
But regardless, I know I should give back to God at least a portion of what He has blessed me with.

You speak not only with your wallet, but with your words and actions. I have met with pastors when I felt they were speaking wrongly from the pulpit, always taking a witness with me. Surprisingly, the chastisement was taken pretty well. Sometimes there was an apology, once or twice even in front of the congregation. I have been a Christian for a long time and have a good reputation, and because I speak honestly with a respectful attitude, I am usually listened to, but not always. Thankfully I haven't had a pastor who was a molester or riot inciter. If it was something serious as that, I would go over his head and speak to his presbyter. Sometimes you have to leave, but I would rather not lose my congregational family when there is an errant pastor. The fact is that most of these types end up losing support from most of their congregation and they leave when they don't have an "amen corner".

how else does anything get done in the church? pray! legally i don't know what can be done. but don't take money away from the church and congregation just because you don't like the pastor. when you give offerings, most churches have an envelope there to put it in. if you are offended by the pastor, and don't want to give towards his paycheck, mark it as a missions offering, or for a specific part of the church, like building fund, or childrens ministry.
like i already said, don't take money away from the church just because you don't agree with the pastor, approach a board member or deacon about it.

Each Individual is accountable for their actions including but not limited to religious leaders. First to his fellow man, then to the law of his land, and finally to his creator (should you believe he has one). Those leaders you mention are no more or less accountable than the ceo of a company you have invested in. Technically it is God you have appointed in your question to reign them in after all you did say its his house. If God exist (you didn't ask for an opinion) then I am sure he must abhor ignorance in his greatest creation ( provided man is) much as an investor would abhor ignorance in his broker. Again you did say its God's house so guess he reigns them in or not his prerogative, it is my duty to be a good steward of my money. I am sure if I encounter your proposed situation as listed above I would simply find a better leader in one of Gods other houses if I was so inclined to invest or follow any stipulated contribution to the fund. I believe you termed that as tithe.

your check book isn't going to make a difference. If a Civil law is being broken then reporting to the relevant Authorities is the best response. If a religious Law is being broken then the action should be to take it to higher authorities, if they allow it , then go higher and if the highest authorities allow it then no law has been broken.
If you still are not happy turn from that organisation, wipe the dust from your feet and seek greener pastures. Maybe start your own perfect Church.

No, no, and no.
Beware of organized religion and pastors, clergymen, liars, greeds, thiefs, sexual abusers, and all the rest of the trashy lot.
What is most important is your personal relationship with God and not other slobs dictating your life to you while they commit the worst and most atrocious of acts.

I don't care about other religions, but Jesus never commanded the church leaders to collect money. On the contrary Jesus feeds the hungry but never ask for donation, tithes , or anything.

Well the churches are making a killing off their fictional religions, i am sure one person stopping paying them would not ruin them.

None of the above
That's like me asking you: are you still sleeping with your sister or are you now sleeping with your mother?
We can play this game all day long can't we?
