TV show involving a group of kids and alpha centauri?

I remember this old TV show I used to watch when I was a kid that featured a group of kids who solve mysteries and at one point they go to this giant mansion where there is a big TV screen and a computer that they talk to who they refer to as Alpha Centauri or something. Does this sound at all familiar to anyone?

I believe you're talking about "Mission Top Secret," that was filmed in Australia.I remember this one really well - it was good!

I read that also. What I read was that several people went in together to bail this person out. They (the show) had already talked to some of the parents about airing the show with some of the people involved. But it was felt by higher ups in the network that these people went way above what they should have by bailing this girl out and now the idea of the show has been canned. I personally don't think they should have bailed her out. I also don't think Dr Phil has his priority's set right. Seems he is going to be where ever there is a story (remember B. Spears) and he can get top ratings with the pretense of "helping" these people. One of the reasons I don't watch his show

This is weird. But there was a Tim Allen movie in '06 called Zoom that sounds sort of like what you're talking about. It was not a TV show far as I know but Tim Allen played a superhero who puts together a group of kids to become superheros or something like that.
