Home heating oil prices in UK?
Has anyone got any idea how much, roughly it is to fill, or half fill a tank with home heating oil? My daughter has just looked at a house, she has half an hour to decide if she wants to rent it, but it has oil heating and she needs to know the price to enable her to make her decision and everywhere is shut, you have to email for a quote! Anyone who has oil, could you please give us a rough guide, much appreciated.

it depends if the boiler is efficient..and how many rooms? half a tank .. could cost £300 and it could last 6/9 months if you have a 3 bed house.could cost less even. its quite ecconomical. oil suppliers also can give you an account so that you dont pay in one go ...if i was her and liked the house i would go 4it. gas n elec is so much dearer

It is now about 32p per litre (it went up to 63p in July 08). Find out the size of the tank and multiply. For info our oil heating bill was around £70/per month for a large 4 bed.

I additionally use abode heating oil, it has shot for the period of the roof. I shall could look for a belongings with the two gas or electric efficient heating. there is not any way i will shop affording the intense oil fees.

can't give you a number but if you read any farmer magazines you will see that they are all getting rid of this type of heating. oil prices will only rise
