If I were to breed bettas where could I sell the babies?

If you are trying to sell the babies that resulted from two bettas that you bought in a petshop... Dont get your hopes up. The petshop will probably take them from you, but wont pay you. The bettas in shop arent show quality, so most people wont want them.

Now, if you knew what you were doing, and managed to obtain some with good coloration and finnage, then you could sell those on aquabid for a decent amount.

Pick the type you want to see, and look at the quality of those bettas. Breeding fish wont get you any money if you dont know whats going on. Even if you do, youll probably just break even. Most breeders dont make much over what they invested. But they enjoy doing it.

if you breed them a pet store will onlyt receive them and won;'t give you green.it's like if you are donating them.

there are websites were people that buy bettas go to and thye choose the one thatn they want.you can dot hat or you can advertise in the newspaper,magazines.or you can put an ad on craiglist.com

If you are breeding bet store bettas, I would suggest donating them to a school/church carnival for prizes :) Otherwise to friends and family. You are not going to find many takers online becuase the cost to ship them would outweight the value of them.

If you are interested in breeding bettas, I suggest you try it. It is a LOT of fun however you must have a lot of patience and be ready for a lot of work!

just to make it clear... you wont make any money selling bettas.

truely breed bettas if you like to, but dont do it expecting to make it rich.

You can sell baby bettas to friends at most, most local fish stores wont buy them, they will take them..... wholesale, bettas are worth .25 ea around me. i buy them for .50 cents ... both VT and CT

So your baby bettas unless they are pure breed rares, arent worth much, so your best not breeding or prehaps giving them away.

you could sell them to your local pet shop but id ask u pet shop first just to make sure

go to your local pet shop and they will by them off of you.. even walmart or something like that would work
