Is this normal kittycat behavior?

I just found out I am pregnant and my cat Billy sticks to me like a magnet. He wants to be in the room with me, he used to go to my husband, but now he only wants me. He used to stay outdoors a lot and now he likes to be indoors and hangs out  wherever I am.

aww how sweet! Animals are very observative of us. They have to be, since they cannot speak human and their world revolves around body language and scents (wheras we talk and can be less observative of our pets and what they are trying to tell us). Your cat can probably tell you are pregnant and that is why he is acting the way he is. This happens more often in dogs, but I don't see why a cat cannot do it. It sure will be interesting to see what Billy thinks of the new baby when he/she is born.

Male cats will do this in the wild and is only doing what instinct tells him.

cats are very nurturing (at times), and if they sense something different, they want to be with mommy.
