I would like to lean my brothers car, insurance?

Me and my mom we are here in Alabama to visit my brother. We are originally from Switzerland, so we don't have a car. Now my Brother, who lives here offert us to lean his car for a few days (travel around) but we are not shure if this is legal because of the insurance. Can we just take his car? Do we have to get an insurance?

If I was him I would make sure you can drive, he can contact his insurers and ask them directly.

If your brother has given you permission to use his car you may do so. His insurance will cover you while driving. Your current, valid Swiss driver license will be honored in Alabama, but remember that the United States DOES NOT recognize the (so called) International Driver License as a valid driver license.

what in the world do you mean by lean? Do you mean loan If your mom has a license. Call his agent you may be covered
