How do I fix a TV with no sound, but the picture is OK?
When I try to watch TV (Cable) the sound isn't working. But when I switch to a game console (ie, XBox 360) the sound works. None of the cables have been messed with since this started happening. The TV is not on mute. I have an RCA 24V511T TV purchased at the MOST 5 years ago.

If someone has tried to attach speakers to it try resetting the SAP setting on the TV.

If the cable is connected directly to the TV without a cable box, then there is probably a problem with the TV that can't be easily fixed (or possibly with the cable, but not likely).
On the other hand, if you do use a cable box, try using a different set of connector cables between the box and the TV, or try connecting the cables to different inputs on your TV.
