Have any atheists read one or more of the following?

People have been asking Christians this tonight so I thought I'd join in. Can you open minded free thinkers tell me if you have read:

1. God and The New Physics - Paul Davies

2. The Science of God - Gerald Schroeder

3. Let There Be Light - Smith

4. The Steppingstones - Scarborough

5. Any other books that demonstrate the connection between science and faith.

Atheists are proud to say that they have read and studied the Bible, but so what? Satan can quote it backwards for you.

I have read essays and papers about the connection between science and faith, but none of the books you mentioned. Nothing convincing yet.

I'll have to check out some of those books. Could be interesting.

Much better books the Discovery Institute pap that's been passed around lately.

I have to recommend 'Mind of God' over 'God and the New Physics' for Paul Davies, but that may just be a matter of taste.

Why does everyone on this channel assume that if you're not a Christian, you must be an atheist? Why does it never occur to anyone that you can believe in God and not be a Christian? I read God and the New Physics. I'm down with the whole new physics things and I believe in God, but I'm not a Christian.

i have not. however, i also do not view religion and science as needing to be in conflict with one another. i often try to remind theists who rail against science that many scientists view their studies as Einstein explained more eloquently then i will here; as a way to understand the workings of god better and thus be closer to god.

Why do people feel the need to make every one else think the same way they do. Being a atheist doesn't mean that you know what is going to happen when you die. NO ONE knows if there is a after life and anyone who says they do is full of it. You should believe whatever you want to believe. and leave every one else alone to do the same.

None of the above, but I've read Darwins Black Box by Micheal Behe.

Even a laymen like myself could tell it was nonsense.

Satan is not real. The fact that you think a mythological character is real is enough to not care about the books you supposedly want us to read. Your brain is not able to understand the difference between thousand year old myths and fact. Who cares what your books say. I can write a book on how greek mythology is real and come up with a ton of apologetics as to why Zeus is real. Seriously wake up or shut up.

    I also recommend:

The "Dawkins Delusion", a response to Dawkins' "The God Dilusion". I recommend both for comparative study.

So you're saying that when an ATHEIST quotes the bible, it some how automatically becomes a moot argument?
