Why don't people take my poetry seriously?
Moonlight shining on the silver sea
soft music wafting on the breeze
gently swaying palm tree leaves
could this be paradise.
A walk in Hyde park or Montmarte
with the one who stole your heart
in a gallery of art
could this be paradise.
Or perhaps sitting on the strand
listening to a Dixie Band
While your Grandchildren hold your hand
could this be paradise?
Is it because it's not meant to be taken seriously?

I think that your poetry is beautiful. Poetry does not have to rhyme.

Wow. the people who doesn't take this so seriously has something wrong with them. I thought your poem was absolutely beautiful and soothing. I mean you have some serious talent over here. My favorite part is

**** poetry, that's for nancies. i'm beneficial if the girl you fancy is a few tender artsy emo chick she'd be prepared on love poems, regardless of the shown fact that that's incredibly helpful to get some liquor in her first as a backup plan. She'll seem returned and undergo in concepts you as a experienced wordsmith, whether that's not an completely precise remark.

Probably because of the rhyme scheme. I like the wording and imagery, but the rhyme scheme is really lame.
