nausea after working out...?

i went out of my usual work out today - of a light jog and walk uphill....i tend to go harder and stronger at times but iv never been nauseous afterward

But this morning (with only coffee) i swam for about 40mins...nothing to hard just a few laps with enough rest at times to breath but after i got out i felt nauseous for a while....

how do i prevent it?

should i eat something before hand?

i dont eat before hand coz i need to burn existing fat rather then what i just ate.......is that how it works or am i taking the wrong route???

    Just don't over exert yourself when working out. Do the exercises/work out real SLOW. ..

    Sometimes that is due too heavy equiptments. I also go to gym evryday, and don't even take meal before working out but I didnt have nausea.

    It may be due to unbalance blood flow in the body when working out cause one time, I did the sit ups, with my upper body a bit lower than my lower body, then felt nausea.

    Dizziness and nausea is usually caused by a lack of blood glucose (sugar). But in this case if you had a empty stomach and swam it could be motion sickness.

    Eat a banana before you workout and always warm up

    Its possible you didnt get enough sleep before your workout and sometimes your body just isnt in the mood to work-out. As weird as it sounds your body is in control. It's also important to have food in your stomach both before and after your workout. Look into some pre exercise shakes/meal supplements and some post exercise shakes/meals.

    Try eating a piece of fruit prior to working out and sip Gatorade or some other sports drink during your workout.

    i remember my old man told me, never swim after doing some work out.... now i know what he means.....
