Lavaquin and Tussionex for curing chonic post nasal drip?
I have been researching medication for curing chronic post nasal drip and read Lavaquin and Tussionex have been used. However I have not read any personal testimonies. Can anybody attest to their effectiveness on post nasal drip? And are these over the counter medications?

Tussionex is a prescription medication. It does help with post nasal drip but I wouldn't recommend using it for that. It is a pretty potent narcotic and can be addictive. It is not really for long term use as it can cause more severe problems than post nasal drip and the minute you stop using it, the problem comes back. I would recommend muscinex or another over the counter medication without narcotic.
