How long were Adam and Eve in The Garden of Eden?
To the best of my knowledge the Standard Canonized Christian Bible does not give an exact time frame (though some very broad estimates can be deduced).
Do any of the apocrypha books from Catholic, Greek Orthodox Bibles, etc. give an exact (or at least remove some of the assumptions) amount of time that passed from the time Adam was created until they were, shall we say … evicted … for not following the one and only rule “The LandLord” gave them?
I am looking for book(s)/chapter(s) and verse(s) to narrow down the length of time that passed. For my purposes, the book(s) do not have to have been accepted by any of the various canons.
Thanks in advance for your help.
I can appreciate people saying that the Standard Christian Bible is the source I should be using.
However, in this case I am looking for information that might exist in various religious texts, which I have not read. I am hoping someone that practices one of the various faiths that use the other books has actually studied them and knows the answer. Thus, saving me a lot of time digging though books that may or may not have any additional information.
Everyone that answered here should have simply said, “I don’t know” or “I haven’t read any of the other books”
I know what The Book of Genesis says and I did not ask about the information found in that book.
I also know that many you did a google or yahoo search for the answer and found the various estimates. (I did that before I asked the question to see if there was any information on the other books and saw the information already.)
Thus, the one person that sort of said “they don’t know” with out adding extra comments is the one I am going with for best answer.

It's unknown because Genesis is undated.

We are not told how long Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden.
The first age we are give is when Seth was born and they were remove from the Garden before 130 years before the birth of Seth.
Genesis 5:3
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

If you go back to the original Ur, Sommerland version of Genesis it is much fuller and not mistranslated. It is a scientific thesis on the creation of everything, including mans evolution.
The garden of eden is the primordial jungle, man was in that state for millions of years before evolving self awareness. (ie learning the knowledge of good and bad).
It tells you exactly how that happened. Basically Eve cross bred with a similar more advanced species and produced the fruit, the apple. This was because the urge to breed to produce better offspring was overwhelming. (ie the snake.) The men thought that was sinful, of course they would. Hence the reference to trees and orchards and the fruit there of. It has nothing to do with an imaginary sky fairy.

You can only assume it was for a very brief time, perhaps only a few months. I say this because Eve bore all of her children after the expulsion, and one would have expected her to have become pregnant as soon as the marriage was consumated in Eden. Naturally this precludes a stay in Eden longer than 10 months.

Figure that it wasn't until after the fall that Seth was born and you can at least get a ballpark figure.
Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters.
Less than 130 years. The exact time length is unknown.

It couldn't have been very long, because Eve was not pregnant until after they left the Garden. Realistically speaking, I'm sure once God brought Eve to Adam, they didn't waste any time consummating the relationship.

Well I think it must have been a lot longer then people realise as they had to come through the Stone Age period for Abraham to be born into the Early Bronze Age. So in reality that would have to be about 50,000 years ago.

Ephesians 5: Paul to children:
Adam and Eve was a great mystery,
but I speak of Christ(the end of the law) and the Church,
which is a greater mystery to solve than the Adam(s) family;
For as in Adam all die... Oops(greater damnation in Adam2).

I really have no idea but I am sure it was only a short time as they ruined the wonderful concept of Eden when they disobeyed the Lord
