Should i get a ps3 or wait to see what comes out next?

Get the Playstation 3.

Everything already comes with the 80GB model, and the online gaming service is free.

I was also doubting if I should get one, because my primary reason to buy a PS3 is to watch Blu-ray movies. After a long wait I ended up purchasing the PS3. Now, I've been playing video games than watching movies.

The games have been playing is Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, and Folklore--all PS3 exclusive. Now I can't wait for Killzone 2 and God of War III, and probably be checking out Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

By the way, if Sony plans to make another console you can still use it as a Blu-ray player...actually it's still the fastest loading time for blu-ray movies on the market, and it can decode the latest HD audio. It's a win win situation.

Don't worry those consoles won't be coming out until at least 2012 probably later. Microsoft and Sony have said that they have no plans in releasing any next generation consoles anytime before 2012 and the chairman of Sony said that the ps3's replacement won't come out any time before 2015.

Get the PS3. Sony isn't planning on selling a new system for at least a couple of years. Anyway you could still play PS3 when the new system eventually comes out. most people wait a few years to get the newest system after it first comes out to avoid faults and wait for price drops anyway. the PS3 is great so i highly suggest getting one.

Well. Seeming how it took five years for wii to come out after gamecube, ps3 5 years after ps2 & xbox360 2 years after xbox, go buy a ps3 since it'll be longer for more advanced systems.

You should get the ps3 the next game systems wont come out till 2010

I would say get a ps3 I don't think they will come out with a ps4 any time soon

get a xbox 360 if u dont have 1.if u do then get the ps3

I recomend you to buy a PS3.

I have one and it's pretty cool.

But if you have the chance buy a Wii.

It's cooler than the PS3, believe me.

hahahahaha next xbox is comming in 2012, so, it in all likelihood wont be out through your birthday :). i have been over this back and back, and there is not any authentic thanks to settle on on between them.
