Why do I have this problem with Youtube?

Maybe it's just simply because of your computer's connection. My computer used to be very slow and it did the same thing on Youtube, but when I got a better connection, it's perfect now. It rarely does the same thing. Just make your computer faster somehow. :] Good luck! I know it's annoying.

Hmm.. Are you sure the connection is working very good? Sometimes it's because your computer doesn't have enough space and the hard-drive is packed. You might want to find out about your hard-drive. It might be effecting the Youtube videos.

Hope everything works fine for you! :] It sucks when you are in the middle of a great video, and it keeps stopping every 5 seconds. It's horrible, I know!

Try refreshing the webpage

or...

Turn off web accelerator, if you have one - it may be conflicting with youtube.

or..

It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just google search "zillatube" to get it.

if that happened to me, if i wanted to watch something long, i would pause it for a long long time, but keep yourself entertained, you don't want to be just sitting there watching a bubble move. in the meantime, IM people or play a DS or whatever. but the answerer before me deserves best answer

This was happening to me yesterday too. It also wasn't allowing me or a lot of my other friends to update our YouTube channels either.

For now, I think It's YouTube so We will just have to be patient.
