Would Tom Brady go into the Hall of Fame? ?

We live in an age where ESPN has programmed people to believe "jewelry is a guage for greatness"

The 3 rings will put Tom Brady into the HOF & the 50tds last season was the icing on the cake. BUT, 1 or 2 seasons shouldn't put someone in the HOF & that's really all he has.

I have said this on here & other forums for years that Brady is a product of a really good system. QBs get entirely too much credit for the success of a team & because the Patriots have been good for so long, Brady gets the credit.

NOW that everyone hates me on this account too read on before you thumbs down.

This is ALL Belichick & his system, remember how well all the other "great pieces" have done when they leave & the Patriots continue to succeed. Crennel....? Weis.......?

Prior to last year, Brady just did what was asked of him, don't make mistakes, hand the ball off, dump a few passes to keep the chains moving & let the D do the rest. He wasn't going to have another 50td season..... The Patriots weren't going 16-0....... they would have finished no better or worse if Brady was playing..... Matt Cassel had a pretty "Brady-like" season.

Does Tom Brady "suck" NO but he isn't a "great" QB either, he's a very good QB in a damn good system.

As much as I HATE the Patriots, Tom Brady is a super bowl winning, 1st ballot hall of fame QB when he retires & is eligible.

Brady will go in even if he never plays another down. He was the star player in 3 SB championships, and he lead a team to an undefeated regular season along with various other passing records. Plus he plays ball on the sicophant east coast.

I hate Tom Brady, but yes he is 100 % going into the hall of fame. He has been the best player in the NFL since the turn of the century. 3 super bowl rings help to !

No doubt about it. I will be surprised if he isn't a first ballot Hall of Famer. Whether his career ends now or 10 years from now, he already has the statistics to get him in.

Though he's not the best in the last 100 years, so when you say "this century" I hope you are only referring to the last 9 years.

I'm suspicious of his success, now that we know that BB was taping ILLEGALLY the entire time he was in New England. I'm not saying that Brady is no good, I'm saying I question how much that taping could have helped, and I know they went 18-1 without the tapes, but they had the tapes up until that year so still a little suspicious. Thing is that I don't doubt he would still get in the Hall of Fame. Like you said he has 3 rings.

The dude is throwing doctored balls. No one knows how long he has been doing it. Like that Lance Armstrong, he could go on forever beating quarterbacks that are playing fairly until he is caught.

Hell definately go he like the qb version of barry sanders to this era if he never plays again. You can argue the whole system thing, but until someone defines what that is i see no real argument, Peyton sucked under jim mora, but was gread under dungy so is he a system qb??? Ben rothlisburger has alot of bad games but the team wins regardless of his production. So is he a system qb??
