Why SHOULD we wear school uniforms? HELP!?

Well, when they say they'll still be judged by hair, etc. you can say that by taking away one of the factors, it would provide LESS to make fun of.

People will have more time in the morning.

If they aren't worried about getting dressed, they are less likely to be tardy/ get their homework done.

Saving money.

Without having to spend money on clothes, more money could be saved for necessary expenses.

I had to write an essay on this, and some people AGAINST it said that kids would spend their extra money on drugs. Haha. Just something to look out for.

School safety maybe?

Like, if someone comes in not wearing a uniform they can immediately be pointed out.

People would find a more beneficial way to express themselves. Like art, poetry, music, etc.

You should wear school uniforms because then you won't have to go through all the trouble of deciding what the wear the next day or in the morning what to wear to school. The school won't have to have much of a problem with having a dress code haha, and I guess that everyone will look the same and make everyone less self-conscious about what they're wearing.

And about they're statement about the hair thing. Does your school really allow things like that? Like allowing people to say freely that people WILL be judged on their hair even wearing a uniform? You should understand that you shouldn't care if somebody judges you by the way you look, that's what the whole self-conscious thing is about. If a mean person wants to make jokes about another "uncool" person, hey, they're wearing the same clothes, what can they be teasing about? Hair? Who cares about hair? We all are born with different styles, shapes, straightness, color, and texture. Accept that we're all different, and when you grow up nobody cares.

It doesn't take forever to pick out your clothes every morning; it's easy to buy uniform clothes (all the larger retailers carry them, like Target and Wal Mart); they are inexpensive.

Also, you can bet if a school requires uniforms, they will have a dress code on things like hair and other things, so your fact still holds up.

Don't worry I had to do this too but it was for homework.Here are some ideas you could use:Uniforms show school spirit and let people know that our school is popular and loved.People won't be late to class cause they won't have to worry about how they look and keep changing their clothes.Last you could say kids won't get into trouble about their clothes because it will be school appropriate and will have less arguments with teachers.Sorry if this was a little bad but I'm having a brain fart.

Well I went to both a public and private school. (Had uniforms and no uniforms) And I think you should talk about haw complicated it is to decide what you want to wear. Maybe argue how with uniforms no one would feel bad if they couldn't afford nice clothes because everyone would look the same.

some inner maximum colleges require uniforms. i like the belief of uniforms because of the fact it makes all the youngsters have interaction with equivalent status. you get rid of the jealousies. there have been murders in u . s . a . of america over a pair of Air-Jordan footwear or a jacket that is extra advantageous than the ok-Mart particular mom have been given for you.

kids won't be picked on during school, there will be less peer pressure

My teacher said its a matter of safety, like, if someone were to come on school campus, they would be easily recongized that they didn't belong there, and could be a threat to students and staff.

if your in uniform it helps identify other people because their not in uniform....its getting us ready for the real world because most jobs require us to wear uniforms
