What do you guys think about whats going on in Palestine and israel?

The following apples to apples comparison of what is occurring in Israel is how I’ve formed my opinion.

Europe mandated all Canadians to settle in America. Fighting breaks out between Canadians and Americans. Canadians win the fighting and herd all refugees into the state of Maine and a small plot of Southern CA land. Europe then backs Canadians financially and helps build up a defense arsenal and provide for economic gains. Americans resist and try to gain back their land which was all taken but they have no weapons, no freedom, no money, few jobs, no rights, no political representation, no healthcare, and reduced to third class citizens who can be thrown into jails, beaten, killed etc if they cross a border, come close to a border or speak out. Then the Canadians begin to settle in Maine and Southern CA and take what is left and occupy the areas.

The UN tells Canada they must get out of Maine and Southern CA and allow the Americans to self rule and they must open borders. Canada refuses and continues it's oppression and apartheid of the Americans. Europe continues year after year to financially support Canada and the suffering of the Americans goes unnoticed by the world because Americans are considered "terrorists" because they are fighting the Canadians and have grown to HATE the Canadians for the suffering their loved ones has endured for so long.

A truce, in which the details are kept secret from the public, is set up with Americans expecting Canada to meet the UN resolution. Instead, Canada violates that truce within the first week seven times and injures fishermen and others who are near the border area. The violations on both sides escalate from there. Although Southern CA seems to be the hotspot, many Americans are jailed and killed by Canadians in Maine also. It goes on tit for tat for the next 6 months of the truce. The only recourse the Americans have is to fire homemade rockets at Canada. At the end of the truce after all food, electricity, fuel, rights, medical supplies, international journalists, foreigners, border crossings, etc. are all banned from Southern CA for last 2 months of truce; the Americans say the truce is over and begin to fire these rockets into Canada. The media in Europe only reports the violations of the rockets and the fact that the "homegrown" militants are fanatic about killing the Canadians and ignores the Canadian UN violations, the Canadian truce violations, the human rights violations and the exact nature of the apartheid violations. Then, Canada, in self defense of the rockets, takes military action against the already weak, suffering, hungry population of the Americans and kills 800 and injures 4000 and refuses cease fire until the guarantee of no arms is made by the militant faction of Americans...which can never be done because, as with any human population, people break laws.

Now, this is my perspective of an apple to apples comparison and transplanting what has happened in Israel/Palestine to America. Now, question is: What would Americans do in this situation? This scenario is called empathy...which is putting you in someone's else’s shoes and gaining their perspective. Now, how should this issue be resolved? What should Canada do? What should Americans do? What should the UN do? What should Europe do?

I feel sorry for the Palestinian civilianss who are just trying to live. They are mere chattel, being used by the Arab world, and being decimated by the IDF who are sick and tired of rockets hitting their families' homeland every day, day after day. And why doesn't anyone talk about the wall Egypt built to keep the Palestinians in Gaza? Why isn't that wall 'inhuman'? Peace is the only answer. Israel isn't going anywhere. And if some crazy dumbass like Ahmadinehad nukes them, the entire Middle East will be aglow shortly thereafter.

I think Israel took it too far, killing hundreds of innocent people and injuring thousands.the sad thing is that people died just because they did not have regular hospital supplies such as blood, medicine, etc. And when people try to help, UN, humanitarian groups, etc. the Israelis blow them up! They purposly target them. And then they point the finger at Hamas. They accuse Hamas as using their fellow palestinians as human sheilds, bull sh*t. The Israelis do that, they use Palestinian children as human sheilds! Look it up! As Angelina Jolie said: all the problems in that area are always caused by the zionists. And to think it once used to be peaceful in that area.

I think that a group of people built tunnels, launched rockets, engaged in a variety of terrorist activities and continues to use women and children as human shields as well as concealing military items among the general population has picked a fight against a vastly superior enemy.

The usual cast of characters are defending their response to the terrorist attacks but they it an automatic response that the same people always give.

I think the honest people of the world can see through the propaganda and Anti Semitism. The rest of them will have the same response regardless of the circumstances.

I think ISRAEL is doing the right thing to protect its citizens.

HAMAS is using their own kids as human shields. Most PALESTINIAS belong to HAMMAS. Those people will fight, as this is the only thing they know to do. If you give them land and work, they will still fight. They are not civilized people, you can't talk to them. They were born to kill and, unfortunately their kids will do the same when they grow up.

well i think that it is a shame that arab civilians are being killed but they brought it a upon themselves by voting ha mas into government.
