Which films or books (apart from "Buddha of Suburbia") du you know about the Immigration to Great Britain from India, Pakistan or Jamaica?
It should describe the self-perception and the ethic conflicts of the pommies
Best the conflict between Indians and  Pakistanis.

Would be very kindly if you tell me some books or films!

For a knowledge based description on immigration, any good Sociology book from the UK will have a good history and discussion.

In terms of films, there are many choices. Try "East is East."

I think a film called Bricklane is based around that kind of thing, there is a book called Bricklane also... So the film is on the book.

I havnt seen it, but im sure its about a family who came from Pakistan.
