In Gaza more than 300 people are dead because of ruthless Air Attack of Israel. What do you feel?

Update:

Dear Friends,

I can understand the feeling of those who are in the land of Israel and come across all kinds of Hamas cowardly threats and merciless killing of a number of innocents.

Coming to Gaza's past history, i believe in 2007 while Israel left that place for self-rule of Hizbul-Palastine people, they should have purt a great check to protect from future such troubles that was expected in those days itself.

Now the dangerous situation is that the present tension could openup several war fronts with the support of anumber of islamic States who are sympethetic to Hamas.

Once the so called terror camps and the related establishments are collapsed, Israel should suspend the action. Also people of Gaza should get the supplies of the Food & essential materials to live in safety.

You call taking out terrorists ruthless ?

Israel strikes Hamas targets. They avoid civilians.

Hamas wants to eradicate the Jews and does not recognize Israel's right to exist.

Thought experiment: Your country. A violent disenfranchised minority is angry about a negotiation that occurred 50 years ago, before most of your citizens were even born. They elect a violent group that wants to murder / kick you out / your people, implement an Islamic state , and eradicate your democracy which has the only free press in the region.

This group will never compromise. Their leaders deny the historical fact that six million of your people were killed over religion less than a century ago. They would like to do it again. They send 3,000 rockets into your civilian cities during a ceasefire, after you give then an area of your country (Gaza) to live peacefully. What are you going to do, give them roses ?

Of course I feel sympathy for the innocent people that lost their lives, but I also feel Hamas needs to share the responsibility for those deaths. They provoked Israel by firing rocket salvos into cities and civilian establishments like restaurants. The mass media is only reporting the horror of the air strikes but not the Israeli civilians' side of the story! They are living in constant fear of being blown up by a rocket. Why do Hamas do this? They specifically target civilians not Israeli military. It's as if they are intentionally baiting a heavy handed Israel response, so they can justify another supreme terrorist attack similar in magnitude to that of 9/11. Israel either walked right into their trap, or simply had no other choice.

In the last month there have been 300 missiles launched from Gaza into nearby towns and cities in Israel. That was Hama's version of a cease fire. What kind of response did the fanatics in Gaza expect.

The bombing and imminent invasion of Gaza is entirely the fault of Hamas. If they hadn't launched missiles at Israel they wouldn't be bombed.

I feel happy, most of the 300 people are hamas terrorists who should have been killed a long time ago. Israel is saying "enough is enough" Hamas has been getting away with fire hundreds of rockets into Israeli schools in south Israel for too long now, Israel is fighting back against terrorism

I am surprised that so many here want to blame the US for supporting the Israelis. Why should they not support Israel?

When the twin towers were bombed I remember seeing people dancing in the streets of Gaza. This was broadcast around the world.

Many non-Americans died in those buildings, including a relative of mine.

    Now, you want my sympathy?

The Israeli politicians and military are just defending their people from "ruthless air attacks" from their neighbours, as they have been forced to do countless times since the state of Israel was founded by international vote in 1948. If others stopped attacking them, they would love to live in peace.

The tragedy is that they all hate each other too much to sustain real peace for long. And nobody - especially not their Arab "brothers and sisters" - wants the Palestinians anywhere near them.

I feel great knowing that around 287 out of those 300 are terrorists who were aiming at civilian territories with the purpose of hurting civilians and killing children are no longer there to commit their foul crimes.

I do feel compassionate towards the civilians who were around the Hamas compounds and launch sites and were hurt. But I feel good knowing that Israel did everything they could to prevent civilians coming to harm, including using smart bombs, spreading around papers from airplanes asking civilians to leave the area due to an oncoming attack and even calling civilians on their cellphone to warn them they should leave.

Finally the poor Israeli citizens who were bombed several times a day without any provocation will manage to sleep at nights. Hopefully the Hamas reign over Gaza will be overthrown some time soon so that Gazans can get some good sleep as well.

Israel is just defending itself from terrorist attacks by Hamas. And I think you would do the same thing if terrorists were attacking you. Unless you are willing to just sit there and let yourself get attacked.

Hamas terrorists were the ones firing their rockets at Israel on a daily basis. I feel that Israel did the right thing on targeting Hamas' compound buildings etc..... Just get ready for a ground operation by Israel.

Also, majority of the ones dead were Hamas' policemen in uniform. And also, the Palis (Arabs) were given a warning by the Israeli government and you know if Palis stay, they too get killed. But does Hamas care of the Pali people? I don't think so because Hamas stored its rockets in civilian's homes and use civilians as human shields!!

It wasn't ruthless, it was bombing TERRORIST like Hamas. I call that getting rid of the radical Terrorists who are up to no good.

I feel that this was Israel's defense. More than thousands have been killed because of the rockets fired and suicide bombers from Hamas, other terrorist organizations, and Palestine's attacks.

This recent event was not an attack, but a defense of years of continuous bombing, rockets, and threats
