GREEN SHELL MUSSLE FACTORY CLOSED?
apparently the only factory down under that processes the giant green shell mussels also popular called 'Kiwi Mussles' apparently has closed down. do you guys there have only one factory to process the mussles.
I am a Chef from Russia and have been told that the factory has closed because of the 'crisis'. if no one else has the product i can see no reason for closing down, special if it is such a popular item. any enlightenment on this?

I found that there ae mutiple producers of Greenshell Mussel in NZ.
One link below is indication of a reduction in employment force at one company.
Mussels are good for the heart. . . well, they're good for 'love' anyway!
