How can I fix my touch lamp (Apollo 5 Light)?
I just bought an Apollo 5 Light touch lamp that I cannot return. I put it together and it didn't work. However, when I unscrew any of the lamp pole components, it works fine (of course, it's not usable in that state!). Is there a way to correct this problem so I can use it fully assembled?

Sounds like you may have inadvertently reversed the hot wire and neutral. Double check your instructions and which wire goes where. Take an ohm meter and check that the casing does not short out to the hot lead.
