We are all celebrating Christmas but?
we need to think of those who are still working over this festive period and still providing an essential service for us all,hospitals,police etc
So to all of you who are working over the festive period thank you so much for doing so,it cant be easy while most people just plan on getting off their faces therefore you guys have to deal with our stupidity.
I am bound to get a yahoo violation for this as its not a question but I dont care,we need to think of others during this season and stop being so selfish.

My father was a fireman and always worked Christmas day. He was due to have it off one year and the shift patterns changed. So he ended up working.
He used to get us up very early so he could be with us when we opened our presents, then he'd go in early so one of the others could go home to be with his children.

I'm not being selfish, my husband works in a care home and has to work all this week including Christmas Eve, christmas day and Boxing day, he has to do this every year, someone has to feed them.
He has a family with kids too, but try telling that to the bosses.!!

My mum is working a 12 and a half hour day shift (7am - 7:30pm) as a nurse in a hospital on Christmas Day...
