How to make my icon something other than the picture of my avatar?

In order to upload your own picture here, you need to sign in your Yahoo! 360 home page http://360.yahoo.com/ Click on the Yellow button, which says ‘Get Started’.

Follow the instructions to create one. Then:-

• Click on the button "My Page" on your right hand side,

• Click on "Edit Personal Photos" which is then on your left hand side.

If you’ve finished uploading the picture(s)/ photo(s), then just come back to Yahoo! Answers http://answers.yahoo.com/

• And Click on this link http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit.

• In the "Picture" section Tick ‘Use My 360 Picture’

• Then click "Preview" at the bottom and then just click "Save" and it's done.

And if you are having trouble about the size of your photos, you just need to click on the following website to resize them (http://www.resize2mail.com/advanced.php )

For YA:

go to your profile, click "edit my info", set up a 360° page, load up a pic (it has to be a .jpg, preferably 48x48 pixels), mark "set as primary", click "preview" and then "okay"! If you don't know how to resize a pic, don't worry, Yahoo will still show it in an appropriate size.

For the messenger:

click the little triangle below your display image, click "share my picture". Select the image that you want to use as your avatar from your harddrive, click on it to open, then click "ok".
