It is under warranty so it should be free. Just call them at 18004MYXBOX and talk to someone. If they can't help you there then they'll send you a box so that you can ship your 360 to their repair center in Texas. It can take anywhere from a week to a month, but you should receive a repaired or refurbished xbox 360.

Microsoft will fix the xbox, and you don't have to pay anything because it is under the warranty. If you send it back, depending on how long it is, you get free stuff like a 1 month xbox live gold subscription card.
