Nintendo Brain Training for Xmas...?

Yeah it is easy to use. My mum got one, and she's not so good with things like that xD. She does get annoyed when the console doesn't recognise her hand writing though; sometimes it mistakes letters, and sometimes it can not register your voice on the speaking aloud activities, but other than that it's pretty easy.

It doesn't matter it is good because my mom doesn't have too much finesse with a computer. However, I gave her that and she enjoys herself even though it has flaws from some of the previous answers I would recommend you to buy it for your mom. I would recommend it not only because she would enjoy it but it has been said that if you don't use your brain after a certain age then you can develop a brain atrophy which is that your brain doesn't respond well to situations and can slowly lead to Alzheimer's disease might sound crazy but many people develop it that way. So as long as you try to entertain her with anything that challenges her mind the better.

The nintendo ds is very easy to use imho especially the brain training game, she will love it! There is also sight training and a maths one she might also like, go for it!

An elderly relative of mine had a go on my sister's brain training. It's fun for a while but don't count on your mum using it every day. It can get repetitive quite quickly.

if her idea of technology is setting her radio alarm clock, i doubt it will be used.buy one yourself and ask if she wants to have a go. then decide

i love it, its nice and fun and its something that challenges anyone, people at the age of 6 to 60+ play it, its great, but i recommend only the first one, the second one is less fun and quite hard!

Yes, my mum got it too and whenever she is bored she plays it. Its got loads of levels and really helps there brain excersice (however you spell it) I would highley reccomend it for all ages even I have it :D x
