A person's attitude & behaviour keeps changing as the situation in life keeps pouring 'inputs' into that person. True, some traits take longer to under go changes. Genetic level qualities too are yet stronger. That is why the system of 'arranged' marriages which also involves family background, roots, astrological matching etc ... has withstood as a tradition for thousands of years. Now it is looked down upon only because of lack of awareness, not evolvement beyond! This awareness requires perception beyond sensory level, which is very rare now and was quite common a century ago!!!!

Take the time to observe how he/she acts around other people, of all ages, as well as any pets/animals. How do they casually talk about others in their lives, especially family members? How do they view authority? All of these things are generally a good way to know a persons attitude and behavior patterns. Just a warning though, some people have behavioral disorders on a psychological level...like sociopaths for example, they to can charm their very own psychologists. The best way to understand one is to stay with them for a time.

Burn down his house and kill his entire family. That will really bring out the attitude in him.
