ive heard men get a seven year itch, is that true?

I've heard that for both genders...I've also heard that there is sort of a seven year 'itch' for alcoholics where ther's an increased risk for relapse. I doubt it's true in all cases, though, and I don't know if it's even true at all.

Yes, and so do women. It usually takes less than seven years and sometimes much more, but every adult man and woman goes through that. Not nearly as many who are married at the time do anything about it, however, despite all that is rumored.

It refers to marriages becoming unstable after 7 years because so many times they break up at that point. Usually due to children reaching a more independent state and the spouses question their compatibility

It's not just men, it's both men and women. I've known a number of couples that have gone through it. None were very pretty, but fortunately, all of them got through it.

I got my itch from the wife bringing it home to me. I guess I must have gotten the expedited itch, because I damn sure didn't have to wait seven years.

If it refers to hornyness, I am on my 17th year itch and going strong. bty 31 years old guy here. There is just no satisfaction for the beast.
