Are you frightened by the current state of the economy?

Oh my God yes. People are losing their homes and jobs, businesses are not thriving, inflation is making prices rise everywhere. I did not get the raise I anticipated, but thankfully I still have my job. I am in great need of finding a weekend job and have had no success in doing so. I am afraid of what the new year will bring. Currently living paycheck to paycheck. My family will not be buying Xmas presents but at least we still have our home (knock on wood) and each other. However, this doesnt make much sense to my children.

I've been through economic downturns before and the US has emerged successful each time.

What bothers me the most is my fear that the divisiveness in this country will hinder making the hard choices that need to be made.

Yes, A LOT. We are learning about it at school and it is really freaking me out. My teacher said that we have a chance of going in to a depression which is really scary. Also, my family has less money then we usually do. I hope this ends soon!

No. Things are very good for me. And I don't know anyone who is having problems due to the economy. Everything seems fine here. I think most of this is all phony propaganda.
