What is the best material for a hip flask to be made from?

The most common seem to be stainless steel or pewter and I've also found some silver ones. Which is the best for not tainting the taste of the drink inside?

    Dark chocolate ... then you have a giant liqueur chocolate :-)

    Oh all right, proper answer, stainless steel would be my favourite as pewter can dent more easily ... but I'm going to market a chocolate one now!
