Could my cat still be alive?

It's been 8 days since she got trapped in a neighbor's yard. She might have already starved to death, and dehydrated. I don't see her moving, and I can't trespass.

Do cats start feeling weak, and they faint before dying or do they go through a lot of pain? it's killing me to think she had to go through that. she was trapped for a week. When do you think she passed?

Update:

The only thing she might've eaten was grass.

Update 2:

and some insects.

When did she probably pass away?

Update 3:

I forgot to mention. The house is empty.

The fence is too high.

Update 4:

Of course I did not know she was trapped. I found out today, when my other cat jumped in that yard and couldn t get out.

Update 5:

It's not a trap. She just couldnt get out of the yard because the walls are too high.

    Good God.

If it was my cat it's NOT tresspassing to go get him back. If you need legal means, phone the police and ask for an escort into the neighbor's back yard, but get your cat back. \

Technically you can get the police to break into another person's garage to get your cat out of it if the neighbors are gone or not able to be contacted. Don't just sit there wondering--go get your cat. Eight days???!!!!!??????????

Cats can not go along time without water. I would of called the police to help get the cat out of the trap. Because that is animal cruelty. I think it will probably not be alive. Im sorry.

    She could've died from dehydration.

Why didn't you ask your neighbors if you could go get your cat? Or call the police to get the cat for you- but there could still be hope for your cat- insects and grass do carry water in them...so ask your neighbors! But personally, I would've gone in their yard to get the cat- but that's my own opinion.

Just go get your cat. This is the third time you've asked this same question today. If your cat is, in fact, trapped and you know where it is you could have had it back in the amount of time you've spent posting these questions.

What the heck? Who cares about trespassing? If that was my cat I would have hopped the fence and screw anyone who tried to stop me. If it meant I went to jail, then I guess I'd go to jail. Go hop the fence RIGHT NOW and get her.

She might not be dead, just really weak. Knock on their door or call the police/animal control to have them help you if your neighbor refuses

Couldn't you knock on the door and ask the neighbor if you could get your cat?

The heck with that. I'd have trespassed 8 days ago when I first saw her in the trap!!!!!!!!!!!!

You knew your cat was trapped and you left her there??

    Ever heard of animal rescue??

ok so this is like your third cat to die! 3 months ago your neighbor poisoned your cat! what is wrong with you? people get real emotional when it comes to animals and your silliness is cruel! i suggest you get some help with your morbid curiosity. even a two year old would climb that fence! so if this is even remotely true please never get another animal.
