How do cats find their way back home? Do they... backtrack?..follow the sun?..use their nose like dogs do? ?
One of my cats was gone for two months. We had looked for him everywhere we could, and nothing. We thought he was gone forever, and he came back.
My other cat (spayed) has been gone for a week now. Should I give up hope?

No, my cat had been gone for 3 weeks, but she came back, with a bunny!!! and cats have instinct, they know where there home is.

Your cat smelled his way back. Each house has the cats smell in the house. Your other cat might come back, dont lose hope. Put food outside and put up signs. Hope she comes back!

Look cats have good memories, they remember detail. They would know how to get back home but they cant get out of situations, if a cat gets stuck they cant get out. its hard for them to get out of things they have never experianced before. so you cat is probly stuck somewhere
