Time, place and opportunity. Our lives are the result of events acting at all levels of existence. These events are the result of time, place and opportunity. They make no moral recognition. Bad things happen to bad people just like bad things happen to good people. Good things also happen to bad people just like the do to good people. Morals play no part because Nature is impartial. It is only concerned with results.

Life, it's just the way life works some times. Why do good things happen to bad people? Some say it's God's will, others find other ways of justifying it. In the end we just do not know. Good does not always win over evil.

Bad things happen to everyone its life. And life is not perfect. And its not fair. Though it seems some people get more than others. But God doesn't give you more than you can handle. So thats what I heard and read in the bible. You never know whats gonna happen. You just make the right desisions. And you pray

Because bad things happen to everyone, but we are so full of dumb ideas that we think the "universe" won't let the "good" people get hurt.

So the next time there's a hurricane, if you've been good, jump out the window and see if you land on a bed mattress. I don't think so.

    cheers

It does seem that way doesn't it. What I would say is that perhaps it's because good people open themselves up more and risk having things happen. Maybe it's because good people are stronger and God knows they can handle it. Ultimately I think it's because when bad things happen to bad people nobody stops to take notice.

Unfortunately, that's just the way it happens. Same as the saying goes, "Only the good die young."

It's so sad how cruel people are these days with no remorse for their actions. And we can never to be too careful.

    Best wishes,

"No religionist may hope to attain the enlightenment of immortal wisdom who persists in being slothful, indolent, feeble, idle, shameless, and selfish. But whoso is thoughtful, prudent, reflective, fervent, and earnest--even while he yet lives on earth--may attain the supreme enlightenment of the peace and liberty of divine wisdom. Remember, every act shall receive its reward. Evil results in sorrow and sin ends in pain. Joy and happiness are the outcome of a good life. Even the evildoer enjoys a season of grace before the time of the full ripening of his evil deeds, but inevitably there must come the full harvest of evil-doing. Let no man think lightly of sin, saying in his heart: `The penalty of wrongdoing shall not come near me.' What you do shall be done to you, in the judgment of wisdom. Injustice done to your fellows shall come back upon you. The creature cannot escape the destiny of his deeds.

Because bad things happen to people, and "good people" is a subset of "people"

because if they didn't then we wouldn't know how good these "good" people really are. it is just balance what goes up must come down and all that. without the bad you wouldn't have much to compare to good to would you? and it wouldn't be as good. you can't really know sweet till you have tasted true bitterness.

i like to live life by the rule, **** happens for a reason.

It will get you where you are suppose to be.

You will look back on this time, and remember a small problem you have solved, and remember it, and use it to solve a future problem. :)
