I have a problem with the media controlling politics to the left in this country. It's one jacked up situation. When a reporter says how happy he or she is at the outcome of an election or primary, that's a pretty good clue how convoluted our politics have become. When you consider just how poorly they treated McCain throughout this process, I think he did pretty damn good.

The MSM. since they got kicked out of the theater after Saddam
was arrested, have had it in for the American Military, They lead
with stories Like Bombs Kill 13 US troops, More die today, More
die tomorow, Many will be wounded, More will lose limbs and etc.
Never one damn time, did they offer constructive things that were
being done by US military Personnel. Always negative. So the
Average American sponge, who sits on there *** all day long ,
who does no independent reading on matters and only swallows
the Bull **** fed to them by the MSM, all of a sudden come up with
this O'h the war must be bad. So yes I have a big problem with the
bias slants offered by the MSM.
They are the single most proactive source for Morale destruction
and Homeland destruction in this country.

Yes, it bothers me. My son is fighting in Iraq -- I have seen the attacks on where he is, but not on the networks. I find my information in obscure places on the internet.
Our service men and women are putting their lives on the line to prevent another incident like Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Many of them don't like the war, either, but they are doing their job. Someone has to do it. If everyone in this country felt the same as the loudmouths who bad mouth our military, we would have NO ONE defending us. NO ONE. And that thought is pretty scary.
We have the luxury of sitting in our cozy, well decorated homes, with running water, electricity, ice cubes, hot food, we can go to the bathroom in our own homes instead of putting on full battle gear and walking a quarter of a mile to a portapotie that hasn't been emptied in weeks -- I could go on. But, you probably have a good idea about how difficult our service men and women have it ---- and on top of all that, have mortars being lobbed at you all hours of the day and night, not knowing if that one road trip to the main base could be your last.
I'll stop now. My blood pressure is high enough.

How's this for no support,
Remember Rumsfeld telling the soldiers that they go to war with the army they have after trying to get an explanation for unarmored Humvees.
That's getting no support from an guy who sent them there without a clue how to protect them from being blown to bits..
Has anyone but the soldiers and their families sacrificed anything?

I accept the media for what they have become - I am far more disturbed when our elected officials and representatives do not stand by our troops.

WE send our children to war and expect them to act like seasoned Blackwater veterans. This just isn't going to happen especially their first time out when they are not battle tested.
The media, anxious for a story will jump on anything and we let them by reading and responding to crap they are trying to sell.
Yes. I have a problem with the media and not just in war zones. I have a deep seated problem with slugs like Charlie Gibson trying to steer public opinion away from one candidate and towards another. i find it despicable that he is allowed to get away with tough questions for one candidate and soft balls for another. I find it humorous that media bosses try to clean up the image of this rusty, old tele prompter reader by changing his name to ' Charles '. That's like putting a formal gown on a worn out, old prostitute !

Media are idiots. Report what they want, and dont tell the whole story. They like making things look worse than they are.

What do you want?
The media should hide the fact that Iraqi prisoners were abused and tortured in Abu-Gareeb.
The media should keep quiet about the rape of Iraqi women by US troops.
The should never show Muslims as human being?
If that is what you want then you hav a problem for sure.

i don't think the media make our troops look like bad guys...but quite frankly i haven't heard anything about the war or our troops...and by the way i don't support war but i do support our troops

I have NEVER seen the media disrespecting our troops, the only negative things I have seen about our troops in the media, were the pictures from Abu Ghraib. You should be ashamed of yourself, you are the hateful one.
Being against a war does not mean we are against our troops. I am against the WAR but I have 4 family members serving there, who I do support, it is not there fault Bush sent them there.
